Story of Rick Kirner Recovering a Class Ring that was Lost for 40 Years!

Bob Cullen and I were detecting in Harrybrooke park, located in New Milford, CT, in June of 2019 when I swung the coil of my AT Pro over a target that turned out to be a gold 1979 class ring.  The person had attended the Henry Abbot Technical High School in Danbury, CT.  Noticing a full name inscribed, we did an internet search and learned that he still lived in Danbury.

We gave him a call and initially talked with his wife, who confirmed that he had graduated from Henry Abbot Tech in 1979.  We made arrangments to meet up with him that night and returned his ring, which he had lost forty years earlier, only a few weeks after he got it.  I had the fun of finding gold and the satisfaction of returning a lost item all in one day!

Excellent job, Rick!
